Aztec High School is proud to recognize two exceptional seniors who have earned prestigious national scholarships in recognition of their academic excellence, leadership, and commitment to their futures.
Gabrielle Litschke has been named a recipient of the highly competitive Daniels Scholarship, one of the most sought-after scholarships in the United States. This award covers the full cost of attendance—including tuition, fees, room and board, books, supplies, and other miscellaneous educational expenses—for four years. Gabrielle will attend the University of New Mexico to study Biochemistry and aspires to become a trauma surgeon. Her drive, academic achievements, and future goals reflect the values of the Daniels Fund and bring pride to the Aztec community.
Daniel Hall has earned distinction as a National Merit Scholar, a recognition awarded to less than 1% of U.S. high school graduating seniors. The National Merit Scholarship provides $24,000 over four years to support his college education. Daniel will also attend the University of New Mexico, where he plans to major in Mechanical Engineering. His academic accomplishments and dedication to STEM fields highlight the strength of Aztec High School’s commitment to excellence in education.
These outstanding students exemplify what it means to be an Aztec Tiger—resilient, determined, and prepared for the future. The entire Aztec Municipal School District congratulates Gabrielle and Daniel on these incredible achievements and wishes them continued success in their college journeys.
