Community Eligibility Provision

As of July 1, 2024, all schools in the Aztec Municipal School District, including Mosaic Academy, are participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program. This program allows all of our students access to free Breakfast and Lunch. The District will not be collecting Free and Reduced Meal Applications due to our participation in CEP. Please see our Policy Release Memo below regarding the CEP program.

Our foodservice team makes it easier than ever for students to make healthy food and beverage choices at school!  

Our menus:

  • Provide many deeply colored, nutrient dense, and fiber rich fruits and vegetables.

  • Provide  many whole grain foods, such as brown rice and whole wheat.

  • Provide lean meats and plant based proteins.

  • Reduce unhealthy fats, sodium, and sugar.

  • Use earth friendly practices by serving hormone free milk, poultry products without the routine use of antibiotics, sustainable seafood, cage free shell eggs, and locally grown produce.
