Children are going to hospitals at an increased rate due to rising COVID-19 transmission from the Delta variant, especially in communities with low vaccination rates. AHS Parents, be aware that nightly attendance calls are not yet going out. The district is migrating to a new communications platform and the attendance calls are going to start going out shortly. Please check your PowerSchool parent portal regularly for your child's daily attendance information.

Hello AHS Families! Remember that online registration opens today for the upcoming 2021-2022 school year. Both new and returning students will need to go to the online registration link in the district website at https://www.aztecschools.com/registration for more information to complete this important step before classes start in August. Returning students can register and update information using the PowerSchool parent portal. All returning students will be able to view their fall Q1 schedule via PowerSchool on Monday Aug. 2nd. Starting Monday Aug. 2nd returning students can make an appointment by emailing their grade level counselors. 9th grade students will start in Aug. 9th for an exclusive jump start day just for freshmen and new students. All grades will start classes on Aug. 10.

Due to this we will be moving early release to Friday and we will not hold any virtual learning days.
