San Juan County is again hosting the “Summer Enrichment Internship Program” this summer and will place students in paid internships throughout the county. Good Morning Vista Family, Tomorrow, our Junior class will be taking the SAT Reading and Math Examinations. All Juniors need to be at school by 8:00 with their chromebook and charger. Students will meet in the math classroom for testing. All other grade levels will be in remote learning for the day. Assignments will be posted to google classroom and we will resume regularly scheduled classes on Thursday. Additionally, we do not have school this Friday, April 15th. REMINDER: SAT is scheduled for Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at AHS and VNHS. This is a virtual day for all students in grades 9, 10, and 12. Students in Grade 11 will report to their campus to take the SAT. Classes will resume as normal on Thursday, April 14, 2022.

Good Evening Vista Family, Reminder, tomorrow all students in grades 9,10 and 11 will be taking the STAR Reading and Math middle of year assessments. Seniors will be meeting with Mrs. Dusenbery and Mrs. Deane to go over multiple agenda items. Tomorrow and Friday are parent/teacher conferences and students will be dismissed at 12:25 tomorrow. There will be no school for students on Friday. Good Afternoon Vista Family, Students should be wrapping up their semester. As such, all teachers will have office hours tomorrow via Google Meets for students to meet, clarify any last minute assignment questions and to check in on grades. Please ask students to look for the links to these Google Meets sessions within their Google Classroom announcements. The schedule of office hours will be as follows: Dobbs 10:00 - 11:00, Zarko 11:00 - 12:00, McClung 12:00 - 1:00, Dusenberry 1:00 - 2:00. Teachers will be available to support students at any other times throughout the week as well, but this will be a good opportunity to meet live for any clarity. As a result of the total number exposed and the desire to mitigate spread, we will be going remote for the rest of the week. We will resume in-person instruction and begin our new semester on Tuesday, January 18th. I am sorry this is happening. We all want to be in school, we just find ourselves in a very difficult situation. Ms. Klohn and myself will be reaching out to the close contacts this morning. Students will need to access their Google classrooms for assignments the rest of the week. If your student does not have their computer, please email or message us today so that arrangements can be made to get this out to students.
